Volunteering is a great way to offer your time and/or talent to help lift up Door County nonprofit organizations while increasing your philanthropic impact!
Here are some Ways to find or Post volunteer opportunities to help amplify the voice of Door County nonprofit organizations:
100+WWC Door County
We would love to have you volunteer with the 100+WWC. Help us facilitate our giving to the many nonprofit organizations that help make Door County the place we know and love. It really does take a team!
To volunteer at our quarterly giving events please contact Barb Graupman, our Giving Event Coordinator.
Other ways to contribute your time and talent with the 100+WWC include the 100+WWC Social Committee, Vetting Committee, and 100+WWC Board.
100+WWC Nominated Nonprofit Organizations
Many of our nominated nonprofits have opportunities to get hands on and volunteer. If you know of an opportunity for our members to volunteer we recommend the following to help amplify the voice of these nonprofit organizations and connect with other 100+WWC members:
Post the opportunity on Volunteer Connections which seeks to connect those who would like to offer their time voluntarily to Door County non-profit organizations. In addition to the volunteer opportunity being posted on Volunteer Connections, it will also be highlighted on United Way's facebook page.
Post the opportunity to the 100+WWC private Facebook group to broaden your reach. Maybe see if another member would like to volunteer with you. This is a great way to get to know other 100+WWC members!
Door County Nonprofit Organizations
There are many nonprofit organizations that have not been nominated for the 100+WWC “Hat”…yet! If you would like to spread awareness for a Door County nonprofit organization, please consider nominating them for our HAT. Nominate A Nonprofit
To find ways to volunteer with these organizations, please check out their websites and also look at Volunteer Connections to see postings of volunteer opportunities throughout the county.
