I knew the Door County Land Trust for their beautiful hiking trails, but through this experience, I gained a whole new appreciation for the behind-the-scenes conservation work to protect the land we all love. This award will help the Land Trust protect more of what we love about Door County. 100+ WWC has helped me feel more connected to this community and I’m committed to staying involved and lifting up more incredible nonprofits in the future.

OUR GOAL: DONATE $30,000+ TO A LOCAL NONPROFIT IN 1 HOUR !
How do we do it? Each Giver donates $100 per quarter to be distributed to three local nonprofits. 100+ Givers each donating $100 can be $30,000+!
The Details:
Member-Givers nominate local nonprofits. Each quarter we draw three vetted nonprofits from a hat to be on the ballot during our Giving Circle meeting.
We hear about nonprofits during our Giving Circle event. There’s a short presentation followed by a short Q&A.
We vote! An anonymous ballot is held and the nonprofit with the most votes will be the recipient of the Main Award! Nonprofit runners up split the remaining gift.
We make a donation together! Member-Givers commit to fulfilling that donation amount even if they did not vote for the selected nonprofit.
